This is the poster I designed to advertise my project and let people know that I am looking for assistants. I have put them up around campus, and I also gave a presentation to the second years today, in which I showed them my animatic and explained what I would need help with. I also showed them some of my previous animations so that they could see my style of work.

Storyboard and Animatic (First Draft)
Below is the first draft of the storyboard. Chloe Howley drew the frames based on designs that I gave her, I then added the basic plot to show what will happen.
I explained exactly what I wanted to happen, and showed her images of the characters and rough set layouts. Chloe completed the storyboard well within the two weeks that I gave her and we have since had another meeting about adding and altering a few frames to finalise the storyboard design.
Below is a rough draft of an animatic that I put together for my final film idea, using the storyboard frames that Chloe drew for me.

Week One
For my Major Project, I have chosen to do a story about two monsters who go for a picnic. I will be the Lead Director and Animator on this project . I will ask some students to assist me and will liaise with them at scheduled, recorded meetings at each stage in the production. I will allocate certain tasks to each member of the team based on their particular strengths. I intend to closely follow the reverse schedule that I have made, thus ensuring my project is achieved within the deadline. Below are the characters that I made out of found objects.
I then drew the basic designs for the characters, followed by the final designs
I did a side, three-quarter and front view of each character, which will make it easier to visualise when I build the puppets.
